The pentalty phrase of Underwood’s trial began Monday. Jurors can sentence Underwood to death or give him a life sentence with or without the possibility of parole.Prosecutors said Underwood qualifies for the death penalty because he poses a continuing threat and because the girl’s killing was especially cruel. But the defense said he was mentally ill and was out of touch with reality.
My opinion to this articles is that if he was depress from the beginning of childhood, why didi the parents seek help? After this murder they decides to seek hewlp to keep him out of trouble. I don’t believe in death penalties, but i do believe that life in prison is not as bad as the a death penalty.
